Senior Graphic Designer
As Senior Graphic Designer at Clay Pot Creative, Megan wields talents in branding strategy and design, identity creation, branded collateral, website/UI design and front-end development, and creating digital products, video, and assets for web/mobile. More than anything she loves helping clients find new inspiration for their work through growing their visions and their brands. Her goal is to inspire, and she enjoys a creative challenge.
Megan joined Clay Pot Creative with over 15 years experience in the design industry, having collaborated with both agency and in-house teams. She has created designs for recognizable groups such as 3M, National Stroke Association, Qrunch Organics, and PBS. Much of her work has focused on supporting local businesses reach their growth and marketing goals. She also has a passion for amplifying the causes of nonprofits and seeing their missions succeed. Megan has lived in Colorado for over 17 years, but grew up in the Bluegrass area of Kentucky, and has an Arts Administration degree with a concentration in Visual Arts from the University of Kentucky.
What you might catch me doing in my off time:
You can find me hanging out with my family: husband, kiddos, and our little mutt. I love espresso, trying new-to-me foods (thai cajun seafood or purple taro milk tea, anyone?), the Colorado outdoors, writing poetry and fiction, painting, and going to museums and galleries.
Music that gets me into a creative groove:
My music tastes are eclectic. Some of my favorites are: Prince, Tina Turner, The Brand New Heavies, any 80’s Spotify song list, Cyndi Lauper, Afro Celt Sound System, Brandi Carlisle, War and Treaty, Dolly Parton, Bluegrass music, Erik Satie (should I go on?).
Favorite part about working for Clay Pot Creative:
My favorite part of working for Clay Pot is being a part of a talented, experienced team. I love the creative and design process, and I especially love being a part of the synchronization of behind-the-scenes work of well-crafted campaigns that make magic and a difference out in the world!
