Yes, Facebook is still relevant.

Posted on February 27, 2013

As reported last year in the 2012 Social Media Marketing Industry Report, businesses (particularly B2B) have taken a step back from Facebook, focusing instead on LinkedIn and blogging to get results. However, this does not mean you should ignore the ubiquitous Facebook.

As we've discussed here before, Facebook is your key instrument for building relationships with your audience. While LinkedIn is important for mining company information and connecting with decision makers, it's simply not an appropriate venue for reaching your average customer. Remember, social media is social!

Facebook is where you should be sharing the fun stuff your company does internally and within your community. It's where contests and giveaways have tremendous reach. And it's the best place for your brand advocates to evangelize your business. All it takes is a little asking.

If you need help crafting a strategy or just a little chat over a latte, we're here to help improve your comfort level with Facebook. Give us a call.
